  13. I have a problem with my Microvitec 1438. I'm quite happy with the display,
  14. and the resolution, and although the lack of a horizontal control is a
  15. problem, it's not too bad.

  17. Nope, the problem I have is with the vertical 'banding' that occurs in high-
  18. res with bright colours. For example, in Productivity, with a white
  19. background, the display is almost unreadable, due to vertical bars about
  20. 2.5cms across, and about the same distance apart. Also horizontal lines, about
  21. one pixel wide flicker occaisonally on screen. In Lower resolutions, it's not
  22. a problem.

  24. I read somewhere that Microvitec/AT have added some extra bits to the new
  25. badged monitor - does anyone know what these are? Can anything be done to
  26. prevent this banding ?
